Happy Birthday

My last post I had pre-posted before we'd even left on holiday to Orlando. We had an absolutely fantastic time during our holiday and were lucky enough not to get stuck due to the volcanic ash cloud as we were flying around the other side of the world. Our friends however were forced to stay another week, but have made it home now too.

Meanwhile we've been back almost a week and a half and I have no desire to blog. Big red flags are being raised in my mind that it's not on my priority list at the moment. Not that I want to give up scrapbooking or making cards or anything, but I'm seriously questioning who I'm doing this for.

Today my mum is celebrating her birthday and of course that is reason enough in itself to blog. Congratulations mama, I love you!

This is the card I made for her:

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream) | Patterned Paper: October Afternoon | Border Punch: EK Success (Swirls & Dots) | Clear Stamps: Papertrey Ink (Year of Flowers: Violet, Fillable Frames 1, Communique Sentiments) | Ribbon | Ink: Staz'On (Timber Brown) | Pearls: KaiserCraft

Until next time.

Birthday Wishes

Today we are on our way home from Orlando, but we won't arrive until Sunday which means we will lose a day while traveling. While we are en-route our niece, Lauren will be celebrating her 9th birthday. This is the card I made for her before we left.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics | Patterned Paper + Die-Cuts: Cosmo Cricket 'Material Girl' + Sassafras Lass | Ribbon | Tag: Newsagent | Clear Stamp: Papertrey Ink 'Birthday Basics' | Ink: Staz'On 'Timber Brown' + VersaColor 'Umber' | Border Punch: Martha Stewart

I'll be back posting live as of next week, if I can get over my jetlag and pile of washing of course.

Top 5 Curtain Call Show Stopper

Happy Easter everyone... We've spent our day at Epcot today and had a great time. Soarin' and Test Track were the highlight of the day. I'm just checking in, reading emails and some blog posts and discovered I am a...

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments.

Thank You Cards

I don't think I've ever been this fast in making Thank You cards after someone's birthday. It might have to do with the time pressure of us leaving for Orlando and I didn't want to leave it until we got back. I left the design of the cards similar to the card I made Ruben for his birthday. This is how they turned out.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics | Patterned Paper: American Crafts | Border Punch: Martha Stewart | Star Die: Sizzix Stars 2 | Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug 'Stars' + 'With Gratitude' | Corner Rounder Punch: EK Success

Enjoy your week!
