It was Renee's first day at her new school. She went in with her friend Julliette and she seemed fine. They normally line up before going in with their teacher, but as it was raining they could come in as they arrived. When she got out of school in the afternoon I asked her how her first day of school was. She was a bit indifferent about it, but she definitely was not jumping for joy. This morning when she had to line up she was a bit tearful and said she wanted to go back to her old school. It really broke my heart. Hopefully she'll be fine when she comes home.

Great pics of the kids. Love the purple! Sorry to hear Renee was a bit tearful. I can imagine she misses her old school. Hopefully she will adjust to her new school and class mates real soon.

Ik kan me goed voorstellen dat zo'n situatie je hart breekt. Hopelijk is het een kwestie van tijd en gaat ze straks met veel plezier naar school.
