Poppy's Two Today + Card Patterns 35

Today my friend Gill's little girl turned two today. I wonder whether she turned into the terrible two's overnight, as she have a big frown on her face. Nah, only joking... Poppy is the youngest of four and has to claim her place and she knows very well how to do that. She's really adorable. Happy birthday Poppy! This is the card I made for her:

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics, Patterned Paper: Bella Blvd, Chipboard: Maya Road cupcake, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Rhinestone: Kaiser Craft, Alphabet sticker: American Crafts, Clear Stamp: Papertrey Ink, Ink: VersaColor, Embossing Folder: Quickutz, Scalloped Cirlce Die: Spellbinder Nestabilities, ribbon, tag, safety pin.

Today I created a card along Card Patterns sketch 35:

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics, Journaling page + die-cuts + journaling spot: Making Memories, Chipboard swirl: Maya Road, Embossing Glitter: Rangers, Ink: Rangers Distress Ink (Linen), ribbon

I feel this card misses something, just not sure what. Too much white space if you ask me, but what's done is done. Onto the next project!

The card for Poppy is way too cute. Love it! Great colors and design. I like your CP card too. There is indeed a bit too much space, but I think it's a beautiful card.

Ook jij maakt geweldige kaarten, it's in the family...denk ik maar zo maar ik mis toch af en toe wel een layout van jouw hand.

Just gorgeous Lisette! I love the soft colors and all the glitter on the first. I think the second is perfect just the way it is- I'm a big fan of white space.

I don't know which one I prefer - I love them both as equally as much! Fabulous job!
