Cards are generally associated with 'happy' occassions, but of course sometimes it is also necessary to make and write cards for other reasons. Last Saturday one of my 'Nike' friends in Holland, her father-in-law past away. To show her my support and friendship I made this card (using Laura's sketch) for her and her husband:
Supplies: Bazzill cardstock, PPs Basic Grey and Luxe Design, ribbon unknown, butterfly punch Martha Stewart, scallop punches Marvy Uchida, clear stamp sentiment Melissa Frances.
My thoughts are with you.
One of my other 'Nike' friends, Lies is celebrating her birthday today. Lies and I first met when we both had an interview at Nike in Hilversum, 17 years ago. Congratulations, girl! This is the card I made for her:
Supplies: cardstock Hero Arts, PPs MME, rub-ons MME and Scenic Route, scallop journaling card Jenni Bowlin, ribbon unknown, Prima flower, bling Heidi Swapp.
