Well, Father's Day is finally here so I can show you my little project. I must say up until I met David, Mother's Day was always the second Sunday in May and Father's Day the third Sunday in June. But as David is British, Mothering Sunday is celebrated in March. It could be any Sunday I think, it's when they feel like it if you ask me. Father's Day was still on the same day. Now that we live in Australia, we follow the Australian dates, which is the second Sunday in May for Mother's Day and the first Sunday in September for Father's Day. This might clear things up a bit, just in case anyone thought they forgot about Father's Day. So, there you go we celebrate 2 Mother's Days and 2 Father's Day now.
To make the mini album I got the idea from Charlotte, who got it from It's a Creative World Blog. You can download the template there, but it's a really easy album to make. Thank you guys for the inspiration. Here's what I made:
Materials used: Bling Cardstock Bazzill, PP Chatterbox, Buttons (various), Ribbon KI Memories, Autumn Leaves stamps, Scrapper's Floss Karen Foster, Dymo label maker, Sizzix Die Cuts, Rub-ons Creative Imaginations & One Heart One Mind, Tulip Puffy Paint, Eyelets, McGill Tab Punch, Photo Corner Punch, Circle Punch, Heart Punch, Chipboard, staples, Sharpie white marker, Blue Zig Marker, Doodlebug Paper Frills and Itty Bitty Photo Frames.
